The laboratory was built for the preparation of homeopathic medicines and supplements. For this reason, only eco-sustainable strategies with zero environmental impact were used. The materials are all biodegradable including insulation such as: wood fiber for the vertical walls and cellular glass for the foundations. The construction system is Steko, that is, load-bearing wooden blocks filled with wood fiber and clay as insulation. The external cladding is in calcium plaster laid on reeds and the internal finish in the non-operational rooms was made of lime and clay-based plaster. We wanted to characterize the environments with natural enamel colours.
